Nature for Kids, Community for Parents

Parent Led

This is a parent-led co-op, not a drop off program. Parents sign up in rotation to lead short lessons.

Nature-Based

Our kids need as much nature as they can get, Charlotte Mason recommended 6 hours a day!

Community

While our kids learn and play, we get to build our village! No one parents alone here.

Hands-on nature play, early outdoor learning, and built-in community for North County families.

How it Works

  • Who It’s For: Children ages 18 months to 6 years old (younger siblings are always welcome!).

  • What We Do: Each week includes a short, hands-on outdoor lesson followed by open play, nature crafts, and community connection. We also organize additional optional playdates and field trips throughout the season.

  • Where We Meet: Rotating parks, trails, and outdoor spaces throughout Escondido and close surrounding North County areas.

  • When We Meet: 1 day per week with rotating days and times to accommodate varying family schedules.

  • Why We Exist: To foster curiosity and love for nature in early childhood while building a strong, supportive community for parents.
